In an effort to slow the spread of
influenza, George Walton Academy will have a digital day on Monday, February 5th and
students and faculty will work from home. Assignments will be posted to
RenWeb by 8 a.m. Monday morning. Middle and high school teachers will be
available from 10 a.m. to noon for online office hours should you have
questions about an assignment. We will have normal classes tomorrow which
will allow students and teachers to prepare for Monday's digital day. Extra measures are being taken to
disinfect our facilities and buses. This is a particularly virulent strain of
the flu, but it is our hope these measures will help break the cycle of
infection.
To learn more about preventing the
spread of the flu, visit the Centers for Disease Control website.
