November 7 - 10

Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7 and going through Nov. 17, Lower School classes will be trying a new morning work policy.  No class assignments/morning work will be assigned before 8:15 a.m.  Students who arrive early will be allowed to read, use the iPads, or go to the library.  After Thanksgiving, teachers and administration will reevaluate morning work.

We are beginning Unit 3 in Reading Street.  Our first story is "Pearl and Wagner: Two Good Friends."

Reminder about our new homework policy...Students should read for 20 minutes - read aloud to an adult or be read to by an adult. When the Reading Street story is assigned as a reading assignment, students should still complete twenty minutes of reading; so they can read the story more than once or choose something else to read to complete the 20 minutes of reading.  Remember the log should be filled in with all reading information.  Students that have unfinished classwork, will be asked to finish the assignments at home.


GWA's Veteran's Day Program is this Friday, Nov. 10 at 9:00 am in the Nicholson Center.

Red Out this Friday as our GWA Bulldogs take on Fellowship Christian in the First Round of State Playoffs. GHSA sets gate price at $8.00 and requires that all pay. Faculty, staff, Corporate Sponsors and Dawgs 360 members must pay at the gate.
